Questions

What process do I need to pay attention to when I use screen printing reflective pigment powder to print clothes?

You need to notice the following before screen printing the reflective clothes:

  1. Design selection: Choose a design that is suitable for screen printing with reflective pigment powder. Considering the reflective feature of such powder, sketches or vector graphics are often used to ensure clarity and detail.
  2. Color selection: Choose a proper color for the powder. Reflective pigment powder is generally silver or white. It can also have a bright color to enhance the visual effect.
  3. Material preparation: Select a proper type of material for screen printing, such as cotton or polyester. Ensure that the material is clean and smooth on surface for the best printing effect.
  4. Printing process: Use professional screen-printing equipment. Control well the thickness and mixing ratio of reflective powder to ensure bright, even and lasting reflection.
  5. Curing treatment: Curing is required after printing with reflective pigment powder. It can be thermocuring or UV curing to ensure durable printing.
  6. Special requirements: Other special processes can be added outside the designed printing area as needed. For example, you can add sequins or fluorescent colors to enhance the visual effect.

To screen print the reflective pigment powder on clothes, it is necessary to select proper design and color, prepare suitable material, control the printing process and curing treatment, and add other special processes as needed, to achieve ideal reflective effect.
